Printmaking Classes

We offer a number of different printmaking classes out of our print studio. All classes are taught by print artist Janine Schroedter.

We offer Lino cut classes
Learn the basics of linocut, design and technique. Class includes 1 Lino Mat, studio tool use, inks and paper.

Silkscreening classes
Learn the basics of silkscreening and print you own design. Students will learn how to silkscreen using the emulsion method with hand drawn screens. Opportunities to print digital images are available. Students are encouraged to bring a t-shirt or something they would like to personalize with their design.

Lino and Monotype classes
This class teaches the basics of printmaking through monotype and linocut. Understanding the use of single print and layers that can be build up as well as the benefits of removing parts of the block with linocut. Students explore their designs with bold additives and subtractive techniques.

Intaglio/Drypoint classes
Learn how to prepare a plate, scratch or etch your design and print. Students will be able to work on plexiglass to start, options to print with zinc or copper are available at an extra cost.
